In this fun and inspiring 2 hour workshop, you'll design and make your very own printed velvet lampshade, perfect for adding colour, texture and personality to your home. Ideal for absolute beginners, interiors enthusiasts, home decorators, or anyone looking for a creative and enjoyable class.

This workshop takes place in Dublin 8.

Everything you need to create a beautifully finished hard-backed lampshade will be provided - just bring your creativity and an open mind.

Working with a curated collection of luxurious printed velvet, you will learn a variety of professional lampshade making techniques including:

• Handling PVC backing, fabric selection and application
• Attaching ring-sets and creating neatly rolled edges
• Working with patterned velvet fabrics
• Using professional tapes, glues and tools
• Finishing and assembling your lampshade

Sarah will guide you through the process step-by-step and by the end of the workshop, you will leave with your own bespoke velvet lampshade and the confidence to continue creating beautiful shades at home.

Included: Everything you need to make your printed velvet lampshade is provided. You will be able to choose from a carefully curated selection of bold printed velvet in a variety of colours and patterns.
