RETURNS
As all Shady and the Lamp lampshades are made to order refunds or returns are not possible. A lot of time goes in to each piece, no matter how small, every lampshade is handmade in our studio by a real person. But we're here to help...
You're welcome to send us an email with any queries you might have. Detailed descriptions can be found under each product and fabric samples are available upon request to help to minimize the possibility that you won’t be anything less than delighted with your purchase.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
NON-BESPOKE ITEMS (lamp bases etc.)
We want you to love your new purchase but if you would like to make a return we ask that you notify us (within 10 days) via email shadyandthelamp@gmail.com BEFORE you return any items.
Please note - We cannot accept responsibility for goods that have been damaged after delivery as a result of poor handling or storage. We strongly recommend that you insure the return shipment and retain proof of sending as you will be liable for any damage until we receive the return. If the product returned is not in fully re-saleable condition a full exchange or refund will not be possible.
CANCELLING YOUR ORDER
Cancellations should be given in writing by email.
If your order has not been dispatched, any monies paid will be processed within 7 working days.
If your order has already been dispatched, please see RECEIVING A REFUND below.
RECEIVING A REFUND
Your refund will be credited to the original purchaser’s account and will include shipping costs for faulty items only. Shipping costs will not be refunded for items that are not faulty or wrongly delivered.
Please note card refunds may take up to 11 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. PayPal refunds can take up to 30 days for refunds to clear.
EXCHANGES
Due to their bespoke nature we do not exchange goods.
FAULTY OR DAMAGED GOODS
In the unlikely event that products are faulty, we will happily replace the items at no charge to the customer or alternatively, to refund the cost of purchase. Please email us at shadyandthelamp@gmail.com within 24hrs of receipt of delivery. When emailing please include a photograph of the damaged/faulty item and in particular, the box it arrived in. Please DO NOT return damaged or faulty goods without contacting us first.
