In this fun and informative 3 - 4 hour workshop, you'll create your very own custom modern hard-backed lampshade perfect for a small-to-medium table lamp. Ideal for absolute beginners, design enthusiasts, home decorators, renters, or anyone looking for a creative morning / afternoon.  

This 1/2 day workshop takes place in Dublin 8.

Everything you need to make a metallic lined silk fringed 30cm Drum lampshade will be on hand, just bring your creativity and an open mind.

During the workshop you will learn a variety of comprehensive techniques including:

• Handling PVC backing, fabric selection and application 
  
• Attaching ring-sets and tucking to create neatly rolled edges 
• Select and apply trims and/or chainette fringe 
• Use professional tapes, glues and tools

Sarah will provide step-by-step instructions and by the end of the workshop, you will leave with your very own bespoke lampshade and the skillset to create many more beautiful shades.

Included: Everything you need to make a statement metallic silk fringed 30cm Drum Lampshade is included - You will be able to select your fabric from our solid silk collection where we will have a variety of colours to choose from however, you’re welcome to bring your own fabric if preferred. Medium weight is best. Also available will be a colourful selection of bespoke trims and chainette fringes for you to choose from.
